PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of reducing a sound squeak by an inverse input load, without being influenced by a backlash quantity of a reduction gear and a clearance of a transmission system connected to the reduction gear. SOLUTION: This vehicular steering device has a steering assisting electric motor 6 and a second electric motor 13 for applying steering assisting torque to an output shaft 4 of a steering member via the reduction gear 5, and has an angle ratio variable mechanism A for changing the ratio of a steered angle of wheels B and B to a steering angle of an input shaft 2, and a detector 18 detecting the steering angle, and is provided with a control part 19 controlling driving of the electric motor 6 and the second electric motor 13 in a state of applying a load to the reduction gear 5, by outputting respective command signals to the electric motor 6 and the second electric motor 13 when the steering angle detected by the detector 18 is less than a predetermined value.
