PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drunken driving prevention device capable of preventing the so-called "drunken driving" without using a means or the like for enriching expiratory air. SOLUTION: The drunken driving prevention device has a sensor 3 for detecting acetoaldehyde and its concentration from body odor of a driver; and a control means 4. The control means 4 is constituted such that control capable of not starting the automobile when the concentration of acetoaldehyde is an allowance value or higher when the detection result of the sensor 3 is compared with the allowance value is performed.
