PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal which judges a change in movement speed for call termination during movement and, when an intention to talk by telephone is found, reports a call preparation-in-progress message for a time until the telephone terminal becomes ready to talk and thereby reduce the probability of missing an opportunity to answer the call, and which identifies a movement speed, the current position or a stop location to determine whether it is appropriate to talk, thereby helping maintain driving safety.SOLUTION: By using a Global Positioning System (GPS) function or acceleration sensor function, the telephone terminal determines the movement speed of its own telephone device and, when it is detected that the movement speed is decelerated and a transition for entering a stop state is underway in order to answer a call, reports a first message to the effect that preparation for automatically answering an incoming call to talk is in progress. When a transition to a stop state is not detected within a designated period or the speed or location is found inappropriate for talking over the telephone, a second message is reported to the effect that the telephone terminal cannot answer the call. |
