[PROBLEMS] To provide a space vector modulation method for a matrix converter which can convert an I/O waveform into a sine wave and reduce the number of switching times even upon transfer between sectors. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A vector state obtained by spreading a delta voltage of a multi-phase AC output on two-phase still axes aß is set as follows. Simple harmonic motion vector axes of the sector where the output voltage instruction value vector Vo* exists are defined as X-axis and Y-axis.Maximum vectors, intermediate vectors, and minimum vectors in the respective axes, a zero vector serving as an intermediate voltage of a phase voltage, and the one rotation vector existing in the sector are made to be basic vectors. Selection means (15) acquires a switching selection pattern formed by a combination of four vectors satisfying a predetermined condition among these vectors. According to power voltage information and output current information, duty calculation means (14) performs a reverse matrix calculation for the four vectors so as to obtain duty solutions of the four vectors. According to the obtained duties, it is possible to simultaneously convert an input waveform and an output waveform into sine waves. |
