<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflator which is constituted with a short overall length while suppressing man-hours for manufacturing and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The inflator 10 is provided with: an inflator body 11 in which a head part 14 having a gas delivery port 14a is provided projectedly from an end surface 11b; and a diffuser 22 comprising a metal pipe for flowing out the gas delivered from the gas delivery port from an end part 22a side. The diffuser is provided with a flange part 23 extending to an inner peripheral side in a flange-like shape on the end part 22b while provided with a penetration hole 24 projectable with the head 14. The inflator body 11 is provided with a bonding part 16 comprising a projection part 16a for bonding to the flange part 23 on the end surface 11b projectedly provided with the head part. The end surface 11b of the inflator body and the flange part 23 are pressed along an axial direction XD of the diffuser 22.
