<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus, which even if a bending section thereof in a bent state is pressed against the intestinal wall upon being passed through a bent portion of the intestine, allows a second bending section to be securely bent before a flexible tube is started to be bent, and is therefore easily passed through a complex bent portion such as the sigmoiditis. <P>SOLUTION: A bending section 16 has a first bending section 39 at the distal end side and a second bending section 40 connected thereto and having rigidity against bending in the axial direction higher than that of the first bending section 39. The first bending section 39 and the second bending section 40 are each formed by connecting a plurality of bend pieces. An end part of a traction wire is fixed to one of bend pieces of the first bending section 39. In a state where the bending section 16 is bent more than almost 90° by traction operation of the traction wire by a bending operation knob, an insertion tube 7 has rigidity against bending in the axial direction of the second bending section 40 lower than that in the axial direction of a flexible tube part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
