摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method most suitable for a construction management and a completion test, which measures an embedded length of a guard fence support rod, a lighting support rod, a forepole, a metallic pipe or the like being in its embedded state. SOLUTION: A probe 12 having a surface shape approximate to a contact surface, an ultrasonic wave transceiving device 13 and a displaying/recording device 14 are prepared for a measurement hole 1 perpendicular to a measurement direction, and a reflection signal from the head 6 of an embedded steel pipe support 5 is acquired, thereby enabling the length to be measured highly sensitively. If there is no available measurement hole, a circular hole is post-processed, and an empty bolt is screwed tightly. A circular curved surface vibrator or a laminated strip vibrator is used in addition to a barrel-shaped acoustic intermediate medium as a means for minimizing the acoustic coupling loss between the probe and a measurement support.
