CENTRIFUGAL FORCE-BASED MICROFLUIDIC DEVICE AND MICROFLUIDIC SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

A centrifugal force-based microfluidic device is provided to separate a fluid from particles by using centrifugal force and to quantitatively distribute the separated fluid without any additional metering mechanism. A centrifugal force-based microfluidic device(100) comprises: a rotatable disc-shaped platform(21); a sample injection port(31) disposed at one side of the platform; a fluid separating section(40) linked to the sample injection port at one end, and extending to outside of the disc-shaped platform to provide a space in which the sample introduced through the sample injection port and containing particles is separated into particles and a fluid under the rotation of the disc-shaped platform; and at least one outlet valve linked to the fluid separating section, driven individually, and disposed at such a position that a predetermined volume of the fluid separated in the fluid separating section is discharged by the rotation of the disc-shaped platform.
