PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use two stators in an axial gap rotating electrical machine and cancel out thrust force exerted on a rotor from both the stators without increasing armature winding as compared with rotating electrical machines having one stator. SOLUTION: The rotor 200 has permanent magnets 22 arranged along the circumferential direction with respect to the rotation axis Q and these permanent magnets have multiple alternated magnetic poles. The rotor 200 also has a magnetic plate 23, which is provided on the permanent magnets 22 on the second stator 300 side. The magnetic plate 23 partly short-circuits magnetic flux, flowing into and out of the permanent magnets 22, between permanent magnets 22 and partly lets the magnetic flux flow into and out of the second stator 300.
