Specifically disclose d is a carrier film for use in a fuel cell production process, which compris es a fluorine resin, has an elastic modulus in tension in the vertical direc tion of 1500 MPa or more as measured in accordance with ASTM D882, and has a n elastic modulus in tensile in the vertical direction of 100 MPa or more at 150~C. The carrier film preferably has a thickness of 10 to 300 .mu.m.
