PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor photodetector that can efficiently convert incident light into more stable voltage than in the conventional types. SOLUTION: The semiconductor photodetector is structured, such that it has a light-receiving section 102 having the function to convert light into voltage and a capacitor 103 connected in parallel with the light-receiving section and prepared on the same substrate as that of the light-receiving section.
