PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of reducing an impact force caused by the bouncing of bits after an impact operation in an impact-type working tool. SOLUTION: This impact-type working tool 101 includes a tool body 103, hummer working members 119, 145 which perform impact operations, a weight 163 in which reaction forces are transmitted from the hummer working members 119, 145 at a reaction force transmitting position during the hummer work of the hummer working members, and an elastic element 165 elastically deformed by being pressed by the weight 163 moving rearward by the transmitted reaction force and absorbing the reaction force by the movement.
