摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the practicality of a suspension system comprising an electromagnetic shock absorber for generating resistant force to the relative movement between a sprung part and an unsprung part, and a spring arranged in series to the shock absorber. SOLUTION: The targeted absorber force f<SP>*</SP>is determined based on the transfer characteristic when the absorber force is transmitted between a sprung part and an unsprung part via a spring as the actually operating force which is actually operated, and the required operating force f<SB>N</SB>to be as the force operated between the sprung part and the unsprung part. For example, a targeted absorber force determination unit 250 is provided, which outputs the targeted absorber force f<SP>*</SP>by setting the transfer function G'(s) as the reciprocal function of the transfer function when the absorber force is the input and the actually operating force as the output, and inputting the required operating force f<SB>N</SB>to the transfer function G'(s).
