<p>The method involves determining the frequency dependent statistical age hearing loss as the base for estimating the hearing ability frequency dependence of a test person. The estimated determined value of the estimation of the frequency-dependent age hearing loss is corrected by considering the results of a structured interview of the test person. An independent claim is also included for the adjustment of the hearing device.</p>
