A construction method of a sand bed is provided to offer the sand bed which has a buffering action by using sand having single size, prevents dust from flying away, and inhibits bacterial propagation. A construction method of a sand bed(100) for playgrounds includes the steps of: digging soils out to a predetermined depth, ramming the ground down, and installing hole-containing pipes(10) for drainage; thereon casting pebbles having a diameter of 25±10 mm in the thickness range of 25±15 mm; putting a nonwoven fabric on the pebbles to form a receiving part for single size aggregate; and selecting a base aggregate having an aggregate size in the range of 1.0-9.0 mm, and filling the receiving part with only fine aggregate(40) having a single particle size in the range of the base aggregate ± 0.5 mm. Further, a step of forming a boundary wall using a bag with sand for buffering impact along a boundary surface of the sand bed is additionally included in the construction method.
