<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular antitheft alarm device capable of setting various kinds of security modes even when any setting switch or the like is provided on a portable machine or a vehicular antitheft alarm device. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular antitheft alarm device 10 has an abnormality determination unit 14b which determines presence/absence of any abnormality based on the sensor signal input from a sensor, and generates the alarm output when an abnormality is determined. In this case, the vehicular antitheft alarm device comprises a detection means which is connected to a lock driving motor 4 to lock and unlock a door provided on a vehicle to determine whether or not the door is locked from a state of the connected lock driving motor, and a plurality of security mode setting units 14a capable of setting the security mode in which the abnormality determination means is in a security mode.
