PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing abnormal prion protein resistant to protease for the purpose of elucidating the cause of developing abnormal prion protein. SOLUTION: The method is a method for producing amyloidal flocculates in an aqueous solution, comprising the following practice: An electric pulse excitation is externally applied to an aqueous solution in which a protein is dissolved or suspended to induce the structural transformation of the protein by electric or physical energy produced by the electric pulse excitation. Specifically, in this method, the above electric or physical energy is caused by both ion formation and ion flow by electric field formation, tension that generates in the production of microbubbles by the electrolysis of water molecules and in the vanishment of the microbubbles, locally elevated temperature, or free radicals produced in the aqueous solution.
