PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine such as a slot machine capable of performing rotation and stop control of reels by a simple and small-sized unit by varying the excitation polarity of electromagnets arranged facing permanent magnets arranged on reel drums. SOLUTION: By arranging the permanent magnets 29 at a prescribed interval on the outer peripheral surfaces of the reel drums 24L, 24C and 24R of reels 3L, 3C and 3R and controlling an excitation current to be supplied to the electromagnets 30L, 30C and 30R arranged facing the permanent magnets 29 positioned most on the back surface side of a pachinko slot machine 1, the excitation polarity to be excited to the electromagnets 30L, 30C and 30R is varied and the rotation control and stop control of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R are performed.
