PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back surface of a medium printed from being stained with ink piled in a platen absorber of a protruding region of frame-less printing. SOLUTION: A warning is issued when there is the possibility that the back surface of the recording medium is stained with the ink piled in the platen absorber because of frame-less printing.
