<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to efficiently retrieve his/her desired function. <P>SOLUTION: This problem solution supporting device for supporting problem solution when the user uses electronic equipment is provided with an icon storing part for storing relevant character strings related to functions belonging to the electronic equipment and a set of icons, an icon display control part for displaying the icons, an icon selecting part for selecting the icon, a character string inputting part for receiving the input of a relevant character string, a function storing part for associating a function identification character string with a retrieval keyword for specifying a function to store them, a function identification character string retrieving part for retrieving the function identification character string of a function specified by first and second relevant character strings by comparing the first relevant character string corresponding to the selected icon and the second relevant character string whose input is received with the retrieval keyword, and a function identification character string display control part for displaying the retrieved function identification character string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
