PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a snow melting property of a snow melting spiral rod. SOLUTION: The snow melting cable 13 is formed by spirally winding the snow melting spiral rod 1 formed by spirally molding a magnetic wire material 1a on a cable 2, and by arranging a heat insulating material layer 14 made of urethane foam or the like around the snow melting spiral rod. In general, part of the heat generated by the snow melting spiral rod 1 is dispersed in the air by wind, however, since the cable is covered by the heat insulating material layer 14, heat radiation from the snow melting spiral rod 1 and the cable 2 is restrained, the snow melting cable 13 is kept in high temperature, and a snow melting property is improved.
