The apparatus has a case (1) with an inlet neck (11) and a body (14) housing a turbine (2), where the neck is fixed on a complementary neck installed on a feed channel (AE) of a plumbing fixture (A). A fan (4) connected with and driven by the turbine produces an air stream. A cartridge (5) permeated with a scent or a disinfectant agent is traversed by the stream to diffuse the scent or agent in a place equipped with the fixture.
