<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein having the ability to bind to a plasticizer, added with such useful properties as to be high in sensitivity, slight in cross reactivity, substantially unaffected by obstructive substances and substantially unaffected by solvent, in assaying, quantifying or concentrating a plasticizer. <P>SOLUTION: An anti-plasticizer antibody having a specific amino acid sequence or an amino acid sequence substantially identical with the above amino acid sequence, a gene encoding the antibody, a method for producing the protein having the ability to bind to a relevant plasticizer, a method for assaying or quantifying the plasticizer, and a method for concentrating the plasticizer, are provided, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
