<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform picture recording operation to be performed between a tuner device and a picture recording device through a LAN, according to a reserved schedule set beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: In this picture recording system, the tuner device 1 having a function for receiving a broadcasting wave and delivering an image content to the LAN 5 and the picture recording device 3 having a function for receiving the image content from the LAN 5 and recording it are connected to the LAN 5, and the tuner device 1 and the picture recording device 3 have a picture recording reservation management function respectively, and the image content of a broadcast received by the tuner device 1 at a time set beforehand is recorded by the picture recording device 3 connected to the LAN 5.
