An ink for an ink-jet color filter, a color filter prepared by using the ink, an image display device containing the color filter, and an electronic device containing the image display device are provided to suppress the generation of color stain and concentration stain, thereby improving the uniformity of characteristics of individual parts of a color filter. An ink for an ink-jet color filter comprises a colorant; and a liquid medium where the colorant is dissolved and/or dispersed, wherein the cured product of an epoxy-based adhesive has an expansion of 35 % or less when it is left alone in the sealed liquid medium at a temperature of 70 deg.C under an atmospheric pressure for 6 days, and the cured product of a urethane-based adhesive has an expansion of 160 % or less when it is left alone in the sealed liquid medium at a temperature of 70 deg.C and at an atmospheric pressure for 6 days.
