摘要 A method for manufacturing an array substrate of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to manufacture the array substrate through an in-plane printing process capable of stably forming a contact hole without a mask process including exposure and development. Gate and data lines crossing each other on a transparent insulating substrate(201) and a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) connected with the two lines are formed. An organic insulating material layer(240) of a first thickness having flexibility and restitution is formed by applying organic insulating material having photocurable characteristics onto the front of the TFT. On the organic insulating material layer, a stamp(271) having a concave part(273) is located. By inserting the concave part of the stamp into the organic insulating material layer by lifting the substrate where the organic insulating material layer is formed, dewetting for pushing the organic insulating material layer around the plural concave parts is generated in the organic insulating material layer. By irradiating ultraviolet rays to the organic insulating material layer where the dewetting is generated, the organic insulating material layer is cured. By removing the stamp, a passivation layer having a drain contact hole for exposing a drain electrode(233) of the TFT is formed. A pixel electrode connected with the drain electrode through the drain contact hole is formed on the passivation layer.
