A method for preparing a colloidal solution of metal nanoparticles is provided to produce the colloidal solution capable of exhibiting a medical action effectively and preventing a metal component from being accumulated in a body. A method for preparing a colloidal solution of metal nanoparticles includes the steps of: disposing a pair of metal electrode rods facing each other in an electrolytic aqueous solution containing a metal salt; and applying an electric current to the metal electrode rods while stirring the electrolytic aqueous solution by a stirring unit, thereby reducing the metal ions in the solution to precipitate metal nanoparticles. Polysorbate is added to the electrolytic aqueous solution and applied onto the outer surfaces of the metal nanoparticles precipitated in the electrolytic aqueous solution to prevent the coagulation of the metal nanoparticles. |
