PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain dish washing performance and water level detection accuracy over a long period by suppressing accumulation of dirt in a water level detection chamber 4 and a float 41 in the dish washer 1 which is provided with a cleaning tank 2 for containing dishes and accumulating cleaning water, the water level detection chamber 4 for storing the cleaning water led from the cleaning tank 2, the float 41 which is housed in the water level detection chamber 4 and moves up and down in accordance with the water level of the cleaning tank 2, a full of water detection part SW which detects an upper limit position of the float 41, and a pump 3 for discharging the cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2 through a drainage pipe L4 outside the dish washer, with a construction wall of the water level detection chamber 4 provided with a circulation pipe connection hole 43 for connecting a circulation pipe L5 branched from the drainage pipe L4. SOLUTION: The circulation pipe connection hole 43 is opened inward the water level detection chamber 4 so that the cleaning water sent in by the circulation pipe L5 is released along an outer circumference of a bottom surface inside the water level detection chamber 4.
