PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicle capable of performing water pouring work by a simple procedure without having a special mechanism. SOLUTION: An ECU 8 detects an operation position of a key switch 9, and when it is determined that the key switch 9 is held in a prescribed operation position from an initial position for 30 seconds (first prescribed time) or more, the intermittent operation of a water pump 3 (ON 10 seconds-OFF 5 seconds) is started 30 seconds (first prescribed time) later after the detection of the prescribed operation position, and the intermittent operation of the water pump 3 is repeated for 5 minutes (second prescribed time) after the elapse of 30 seconds (first prescribe time).
