<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device capable of securing a stable motion with no risk of a rotary main shaft making contact with other parts even if the rotary main shaft has made a thermal expansion due to a temperature rise in association with its high-speed rotation etc. and to provide a compressor for fuel cell capable of establishing stable motions using the magnetic bearing device. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic bearing device is equipped with a pair of front and rear axial magnetic bearings 21 and 22 to support a rotor in the non-contact condition in the axial direction. The arrangement further includes a thermistor type temperature sensor 20 as a temperature presuming means to presume the surface temperature of the rotor and a controller 202 as an electromagnet type controlling means for controlling the position in the axial direction of the rotor by regulating the exciting current to be fed to the electromagnets of the magnetic bearings 21 and 22 on the basis of the surface temperature presumed by the temperature sensor 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
