The invention relates to a slide block for articulated spindles for rolling mill drives. An articulated spindel comprises a flat journal (2) whose blade (3) interlocks into a cylindrical opening which is transversal to a rotation axis and embodied in the spindle-nose (4), the slide block (5) being arranged between said spindle-nose and the flat journal (2). The inventive slid block (5) is provided with a composite structure consisting of an internal metallic body (6) and non-coated external layer (7) made of polymer fibre material. |
