A ship's radar system includes one or more radar antennas (1, 2), a display screen (45), (46) and processor (25, 26) that receives signals from the antenna and provides two separate radar display representations (61) and (62) on the same screen. The two display representations (61) and (62) are separately controllable. One display representation (61) is larger than the other (62) and may show radar information at a larger scale and smaller range than the other representation. The display representations (61) and (62) could differ from each other in being derived from different antennas (1) and (2) or could differ in setting, orientation, frequency or threshold.
