PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device and an air conditioner capable of easily removing dust attached to a face to be cleaned, and capable of easily disposing of the removed dust. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is provided with a body case 35 having an opening 35a in a top face, a dust removal body A36 turnably arranged so as to face the opening 35a and removing dust attached to an air filter (not shown), a dust removal body B38 removing dust attached to the dust removal body A36, and a dust box 39 receiving the dust separated and dropping from the dust removal body B38. Since dust attached to the air filter is positively removed in succession by the dust removal body A36, and the dust is recovered by the dust box 39, disposal of the dust is very easy. Since dust attached to the dust removal body A36 is removed by the dust removal body B38, there is no reattachment of the dust to the air filter, and since the dust box 39 just receives naturally falling dust, cost and weight reduction can be carried out.
