PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a machine to fill capsules with a pharmaceutical which are designed so as to produce capsules each storing microtablets of the same quantity. SOLUTION: The lower side shell (2) of every capsule is supplied along a prescribed path in accordance with a corresponding measuring chamber (42) to transfer a prescribed quantity of the pharmaceutical into the lower side shell (2) from a vessel (21). A control device (38) measuring the weight of the articles in the measuring chamber (42) suspends the supply of the articles into the measuring chamber (42) when the weight of the articles becomes approximately equal to a prescribed reference value.
