<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for a roll neck without a need for increasing a supplying volume and a supplying frequency of grease even when a space inside the bearing becomes large in a workpiece roll shift type rolling mill. <P>SOLUTION: This rolling bearing 1 for a roll neck comprises two rows of inner rings 2a, 2b, four rows of outer rings 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, two rows of tapered rollers 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d interposed between the inner and outer rings, an inside spacer 6 provided between the inner rings, and an outside central spacer 7a provided between the outer rings. An outside diameter face of the outer ring is fitted with an inner periphery of a work chock pressed by a cylinder of a cylinder block mounted to the housing and moving in an axial direction, and an inside diameter face of the inner ring is fitted with a roll neck part 9a of a horizontal roll. A space between the inside spacer 6 and the outside central spacer 7a opposed to the inside spacer 6 is filled with a foamed solid lubricant 8, whose essential components are a lubricating component and a resin component, and which is formed by foaming and solidifying the resin component into a porous form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
