PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air duct type temperature control device, which reduces the heating quantity, at preheating of a light-emitting element, and reduces the heater electric power consumption in the standby state of the light-emitting element. SOLUTION: In the air duct type temperature control device, the temperature of the light-emitting element 1 is controlled to a prescribed range. The device is provided with a heater 10 preheating the light-emitting element 1, a heat sink 5 connected in a heat-transmitting manner with the light-emitting element 1, and a duct 6 having a ventilation path having nearly a reverse U shape with respect to the direction of gravity.
