A fluoropolymer for a chromatic aberration-free lens, which is an amorphous fluoropolymer containing a carbon atom chain as a main chain and containing a fluorinated atom-bonded carbon atom as a carbon atom of the main chain, characterized in that vd>75, thetagF>0.50, and DeltathetagF>0.03, where vd represents an Abbe number, thetagF represents a relative partial dispersion of a g-F line, and DeltathetagF represents a deviation from a standard line of the relative partial dispersion of the g-F line.
