<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator and a lens transfer device having the piezoelectric actuator. <P>SOLUTION: The lens transfer device includes: a lens barrel having a lens hole, where not less than one lens is arranged, and a member subjected to friction on an external surface; a base having a guide section for guiding the lens barrel in the direction of an optical axis vertically and movably; the piezoelectric actuator, where a piezoelectric body, which has at least one friction member abutting on the member subjected to friction on one side surface, is arranged on a plane section at one side of the base and driving force is provided when power is supplied; and a preload member providing elastic force for supporting the piezoelectric actuator at the side of a lens barrel elastically so that the contact state between the member subjected to friction and the friction member is maintained. A structure is simplified for microminiaturization, the resolution of transfer is excellent since large displacement can be obtained even if input power is low, the loss of power required for drive is minimized, the structure of a guide mechanism for guiding the transfer of a lens is simple, and a lens can be transferred precisely and stably. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
