The assembly has a wheel comprising a rim (36) mounted on a landing axle (34) of an aircraft, and a brake (40) comprising a disk pack with stator disks (41) and rotor disks (42) coaxially extending at the wheel. A circular cylindrical drum (100) extends around the stator and rotor disks and interposed between the stator and rotor disks and the rim. The drum has driving units provided with keys (110) extending inside the drum for driving the rotor disks in rotation, and fixation units for fixing the drum at the rim of the wheel. |
