<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-feeding detection device detecting double feeding to convey sheets in an overlapped state of a plurality of sheets, capable of detecting continuous double feeding and improving the reliability and performance of the double feeding detection, and to provide an image forming device provided with the double-feeding detection device. <P>SOLUTION: This double-feeding detection device is provided with a sheet information storage means, recorded with an initial value of sheet information related to the sheets 20 stored in a paper feeding part 2 and recorded with update of the sheet information; a sheet information detection means provided with a light-emitting part 81 and a light-receiving part 82 to detect the transmission states of the sheets 20 under conveyance in a conveying path A and detect the sheet information, based on the transmission states; and a control means for making it decide whether it is double feeding, by comparing the sheet information on the first sheet detected by the sheet information detection means and the initial value, and making the sheet information storage means update and record the sheet information detected by the sheet information detection means and making the sheet information as a compared value for the next double feeding decision, when it is decided as not being double feeding, as the decision result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
