<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene capable of conferring resistance against nematodes and/or aphids, and to provide a genetically transformed plant having the resistance against them. <P>SOLUTION: Preferred nucleic acids are DNA sequences which are at least part of the specific nucleic acid or homolog thereto, and present in a plant, and have Mi-resistant genes conferring the resistance against the nematodes and/or the aphids to the plant when being expressed.
