A light emission device and a display device provided with the same are provided to enhance the contrast of screen and increase the display quality of the display device by unifying the brightness of the light emitting surface. A light emitting device(1000) comprises the light-emitting panel(30), a plurality of diffusing elements(50), the first fix member(54) and the second fixing member(56). The light-emitting panel irradiates the light. The diffusing element is positioned on the light-emitting panel. The diffusing element diffuses the light coming out from the light-emitting panel. The first fixing member and the second fixing member fix and support the plurality of diffusing elements and the light-emitting panel. The adjusting member is installed between the fixing member and the plurality of diffusing elements in order to adjust the gap therebetween.
