PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility having a vehicle fall prevention device for preventing a vehicle from jumping from a storage part into the hoistway of a lift. SOLUTION: This mechanical parking facility comprises a parking layer 12 having the storage part 32 in which a vehicle 70 is stored while being loaded on a pallet 19 and the lift 11 for lifting the pallet 19 in the hoistway 26. The vehicle fall prevention device 90 for preventing the vehicle 70 from jumping from the storage part 32 into the hoistway 26 is installed at the position of the storage part 32 facing the hoistway 26. Also, the vehicle fall prevention device 90 comprises a liftable stopper member, a guide cover for liftably holding the stopper member, a stopper lifting motor for lifting the stopper member, and a lift controller for controlling the stopper lifting motor.
