<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonoriented silicon steel sheet having satisfactory blanking properties, capable of elongating the service life of a tool, also having reduced deterioration in magnetic properties caused by blanking, and having excellent quality. <P>SOLUTION: The nonoriented silicon steel sheet having excellent blanking properties and core loss has a composition comprising, by mass, ≤0.01% C, 0.1 to 7.0% Si, 0.01 to 3.0% Al, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn, ≤0.005% N, ≤0.005% S and 0.005 to 0.02% O, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, and also contains one or more kinds of oxides selected from alumina and silica with a diameter of 2 to 25 μm by 100 to 100,000 pieces/mm<SP>3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
