PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic master cylinder device capable of reliably mounting a reservoir on an upper part of a cylinder body and enhancing the design property. SOLUTION: A first fitting part 20 having a reservoir mounting part 18 and a female screw hole 20a of a first fixing screw 19 is provided on an upper part of a cylinder body 7, and a second fitting part 22 having a female screw hole 22a of a second fixing screw 21 is provided on the inner side of a vehicle body from the first fitting part 20, respectively. A reservoir 8 has a fitting boss part 29a to be fitted to the reservoir mounting part 18 and a through hole 32a of the first fixing screw 19 on its bottom surface. A mounting piece 35 connected to the second fitting part 22 is projected from the bottom surface, and a through hole 35a of a second fixing screw 21 is formed in the mounting piece 35.
