Surgical knife comprises a blade holder (12) and a blade (14) made of fiber-reinforced plastic material. Preferred Features: The plastic material is a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic. The plastic material is reinforced with glass fibers or carbon fibers. The fiber content is 25-70, preferably 40-60%. The blade is arranged in one piece on the blade holder which is arranged in one piece on a handle (24).
