PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in the operation device of the conventional waterproof housing: it is necessary to make strong force act to press a push-button because an O-ring having large sliding resistance is attached to a pressing shaft; and a powerless woman or child can not perform pressing operation of a photographing button. SOLUTION: The waterproof case includes: a waterproof case body 21 liquid-tightly holding a housed imaging apparatus; a lever member 22 detachably attached to the outer surface of the case main body; and a transmission rod 23 whose one end faces the photographing button 11 of the imaging apparatus housed in the case body, and whose other end faces an operation lever 82 made to project to the outside and making the lever member act. The lever member 22 includes an attaching bracket 81 detachably attached to the case body 21, and the operation lever 82 coupled with the attaching bracket through a hinge 83. The waterproof case is provided with an input part 87 capable of pressing the operation lever by applying external force at a position on the operation lever 82 where a distance from the hinge is longer than that from the hinge to an acting projection 86 made to abut on the transmission rod.
