<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance data reproduction system by which a position and length of a desired repetition section are easily set regardless of timing of indication for starting the repeating reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, in a normal reproducing mode the performance data is successively reproduced following the progress of the music, in a repeated reproducing mode, the prescribed intervals Tr in the performance data are repeatedly reproduced. During normal reproduction, if a repeated reproduction starting key KS is operated (A) to indicate the start of repeated reproduction, the position of the end pb of the interval Tr is determined based on the indication timing position (A) (2).
