PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight outer wall ventilation material having superior compression resisting performance and ventilation performance, which can be used as a ventilation material within a wall of a building to prevent deterioration of a wall structural member such as an outer wall material or heat insulating material, resulting from dew condensation, and an outer wall structure therefor. SOLUTION: The outer wall ventilation material comprises a ventilation base material selected from (I) a core sheet having hollow conical protruding parts opened at the bottom, which are provided to regularly jut out on a thermoplastic resin sheet; (II) a composite core sheet obtained by thermally fusing the protruding parts of the core sheets; and (III) a composite core sheet panel having a thermoplastic resin film adhered to the bottom-side lower surface of the protruding parts formed on the composite core sheet.
