PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer drum in which a gripper system can be switched to a desired operation mode by a simple means to enable solid conveyance of a sheet with good reliability between printing apparatuses at the respective working positions of this transfer drum. SOLUTION: Two gripper systems 6 and 7 enabling to draw out the sheet at the working position in a radial direction in relation to a selectable operation mode for single-sided printing or invertible perfector printing of the sheet are mounted at one support 5 facing each other in a diameter direction to the rotating axis 3 of a drum body 4, and the support 5 is arranged radially slidably in the drum body 4.
